Chapter 5 The Cauldron Finally the money arrived a few days before our visas expired. My mind was still set on finding a job so I flew to Hong Kong with the intention of being an English teacher. First interview I discovered a university degree was required. I’d been offered a fake degree at a low price the week before in Bangkok but I hadn’t known that a degree was a prerequisite for employment as an English teacher. I hardly knew anything.
